What our customers say about us..

Hire Agreement

This agreement complies with the requirements laid down in the Health and Safety Executive Guidance "Safe use and operation of play inflatables, including bouncy castles" ES No.7   This agreement also fulfils the requirements of our insurance company

bullet No adults allowed on the inflatable. The maximum age limit is 14 years.  Bright’N’Bouncy will not be held liable for any injury/loss occurring to anyone over the age of 14 who contravenes this Agreement.

bullet It is essential that use of the equipment is closely supervised at all times by a responsible adult (18+).  Statistics show that incidents mostly occur when use of the equipment is unsupervised.

bullet No shoes, glasses, jewellery, buckles, badges, key-rings, metal-studded clothing, pets, toys or other sharp instruments or any other similar items which could cause damage to others or the equipment, allowed on inflatable.

bullet No smoking, fires or barbecues to be used on/near inflatable.

bullet No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or "silly string" must be used near or on the inflatable.  They make a considerable mess and will permanently stain damage the unit for which the Hiree will be liable.

bullet Do not relocate the inflatable.  It has been positioned in a location that has been assessed for risks by our personnel.  If it must be moved for safety reasons, deflate it, disconnect and remove the blower then lift the inflatable (this can be done with a person lifting each corner) – do not under any circumstances drag it.

bullet Keep children off the equipment when inflating / deflating / deflated to prevent risk of injury and protect the inflatables structure.  Deflate the inflatable when not supervised or in use.  (ie., during adverse weather conditions).  The unit must not be used in wet and windy conditions and must also be suitably anchored at all times

bullet No food or drink shall be allowed on the inflatable.

bullet No water to be used on the inflatable (eg., hosepipes, water pistols)

bullet Do not allow children to swing, climb or sit on the inflatable walls.  If using a slide combination unit, do not allow more than one child at a time to be on the slide.  Do not allow children to bounce on the entrance walls of the slide.

bullet Do not overcrowd the inflatable or allow children to become  boisterous, push or collide with each other. Should this occur the unit is overcrowded. Common sense will determine how may children of any one size can play safely on the equipment (please see our safety guidelines).

bullet Children should not be permitted to perform somersaults, backflips or any such gymnastics on the inflatable

bullet Inflatables installed into licensed premises must be operated in a fenced off, glass free area, deflated and securely stored when not in use, and supervised by Bright’N’Bouncy, the Hiree, or an adult (18yrs+) employee of the licensed premises at all times.

bullet Please warn children of the tie down points and make the area behind the inflatable, where the electrical blower is sited, out of bounds for children.

bullet Ensure all electrical connections, extension leads, plugs and sockets, as well as the blower itself, are adequately protected from rain or water ingress.

bullet Consider medical conditions of the children using the equipment (especially those with history of neck or back problems).   Asthmatics and children with special needs may require additional supervision while using this equipment.

bullet Ensure there is adequate first aid equipment available before using the equipment.  Any incident relating to the use of the inflatable (no matter how small), will be recorded in the accident book provided with full details, names of supervisors, witnesses, injured persons etc..

bullet The inflatable must be returned in an acceptable condition, i.e. clean, unsoiled and undamaged.   If it is badly soiled or damaged The Hirer will be expected to pay an additional charge to cover the cleaning costs and our loss of earnings if the inflatable is rendered out of commission for any reason

The Hiree should be aware that, all persons using our inflatables do so at their own risk.  Whilst in the Hiree's care, the Hiree is fully responsible for the inflatable and will be liable for any damage or injury occurring from, or as a result of misuse or reckless use.  The Hiree will be asked to pay for the repair or replacement of any loss or damage that may occur, this will include the inflatable being returned in an unacceptable condition (ie., if it is dirty or badly soiled the Hiree will be expected to pay an additional cleaning charge)  It is the sole responsibility of the Hiree to ensure anyone using the equipment adheres to this hire agreement. Bright'N'Bouncy cannot accept any liability for any injury caused by using this equipment.
